Our Journey

NVIA was founded to represent and empower manufacturers in the Nira Valley region. Over the years, it has grown into a trusted platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and collective action, ensuring that members thrive in a competitive industrial landscape.

Leadership

  • Dattatray  Dhamal President: Dattatray Dhamal
    Mr Dhamal is an entrepreneur with multiple businesses and over 20 years' experience, specialising in Industrial Policy, operations and government law. A dynamic manufacturing leader with 20+ years of hands‑on experience across business operations, production and management, he combines a sharp commercial instinct with disciplined operational execution. He oversees two manufacturing plants and a labour‑supply business. Respected for his hard work, meticulous planning and keen attention to detail, Mr Dhamal approaches challenges with a “nothing is impossible” mindset. He has deep practical experience in regulatory compliance and resolving complex labour issues, frequently acting as a mediator between companies and government authorities in the Satara region. As a member of the Mathadi Board of Maharashtra, he champions workers’ welfare while delivering pragmatic, business‑aligned solutions.
  • Bhaskar Poman Vice President: Bhaskar Poman
    Adv. Bhaskar Poman is a seasoned professional with 22 years of extensive experience in Human Resource, Industrial Relations, Statutory Compliances, and Green Field Projects. With a strong background in HR & IR management , he has successfully handled various aspects of setting HR strategies in many companies, employee relations, union negotiations, various legal compliance for new factory set up and project implementation, making him a valuable asset in his field
  • Tanveer Lakhamsey Secretary: Tanveer Lakhamsey
    A manufacturing professional with more than 18 years of hands‑on experience spanning business operations, production management and Research & Development. Over the years he has gained solid practical knowledge of regulatory compliance, quality assurance and process optimisation. His strengths lie in meticulous planning and execution, which help ensure timely product deliveries and consistent quality. He also focuses on mentoring teams, improving shop‑floor capabilities and fostering cross‑functional collaboration to translate technical solutions into reliable, scalable operations.
  • Rajeev Naidu Joint Secretary: Rajeev Naidu
    A senior HR leader with 28 years of experience in human resources, labour relations and organisational development. He holds an MBA in Human Resources and a Master’s in Labour Law & Labour Welfare. He oversees HR strategy, industrial relations, compliance and people‑processes for a critical manufacturing operation in the pharma packaging sector. Renowned for building robust HR systems in regulated environments, Rajeev combines deep legal knowledge with pragmatic people solutions to ensure stable operations, high employee engagement and strong compliance across unionised and non‑unionised workforces.
  • Pushpendra Singh Treasurer: Pushpendra Singh
    Dynamic HR leader with more than 17 years of progressive experience across Food, Pharmaceutical, Automobile, Power and Mining sectors. Expert in strategic human resources, industrial relations, talent acquisition, learning & development, performance management and HR operations for both manufacturing and corporate environments. Proven ability to design and implement people‑centric policies that improve engagement, reduce attrition and align workforce capability with business goals. Strong background in handling unionised workforces, statutory compliance and large‑scale employee relations matters.
  • Mayur Nikam Joint Treasurer: Mayur Nikam
    Seasoned manufacturing leader with 17 years of experience in medical device and pharmaceutical production across India and international sites. Holds an M.Sc. in Chemistry and a strong background in GMP‑compliant manufacturing, quality systems, process optimisation and shop‑floor leadership. Oversees end‑to‑end plant operations, production planning, team management, HSE and regulatory readiness—delivering reliable output while maintaining stringent quality and compliance standards.

    Early‑career engineering leader with a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and two years of hands‑on industry experience at Neumann Industries. As Vice President, combines technical understanding of civil engineering with a rapidly growing aptitude for operations, project coordination and stakeholder management. Focused on driving efficient project delivery, implementing practical site solutions and building cross‑functional collaboration to support business growth.
  • Pratap Patil Committee Member: Pratap Patil
    Seasoned Mechanical Engineer (BE) with 25 years of hands‑on experience in the fabrication, testing and commissioning of pressure vessels and heat pump systems across India and international projects. Proven track record of delivering complex, code‑compliant pressure equipment and energy‑efficient thermal systems — from conceptual design through production, QA/QC, and field installation. Comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams, driving process improvements, and ensuring safety, cost control and on‑time delivery in regulated environments.
  • Sachin Katkar Committee Member: Sachin Katkar
    A Human Resource professional with a Master’s degree in Personnel Management, a Master’s in Labour Law, and a PGCHRM from XLRI. I bring over 18 years of experience across Human Resources, Industrial Relations, and Administration within manufacturing environments. His career includes working with Japanese and Korean multinational organizations, where he has led people-centric and compliance-driven initiatives
  • Chaitanya Sadekar Advisory Board Member: Chaitanya Sadekar
    Working in M/s. S M Sadekar and Company as Tax Consultant since 2000 which was founded in 1975 for practising in Indirect Tax laws and Government Subsidies Consultation Attending and representing the matters before assessing authority and first appellate authority of various State and Central GST Authorities Along with core tax services, the firm specializes in government subsidy consultation and investment planning strategies, oƯering expert guidance on eligibility, documentation, and optimal financial structuring for individuals and enterprises. With over 45 years of experience, the firm has earned the trust of clients across industries, delivering reliable solutions in a fast-evolving financial and regulatory landscape
  • Abhay Pendse Advisory Board Member: Abhay Pendse
    Seasoned Mechanical Engineer and operations leader with BE (VJTI), MBA (Finance, NMIMS) and LLB (Pune University), ASQ Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification. Over three decades in the industry. Currently VP at a well know MNC. Passionate about building high‑performing teams, scaling best practices, and delivering measurable business results.
  • Rishikesh Chavan Advisory Board Member: Rishikesh Chavan
    Over the years, he has grown from a junior management role to COO through a data-driven approach, execution discipline, and strong people leadership. I have completed the Strategic Management and Leadership Program from IIM Ahmedabad, strengthening my long-term strategic planning and organizational leadership capabilities.
